When you join the Hot Strong Sane email list, the following information may be collected:

• Your email address
• Your first name, if you choose to provide it
• The date, time and source of your subscription
• Your IP address and limited browser or device information
• Whether and when you confirmed your subscription
• Your email interaction and unsubscribe preferences

Why your information is used

Your information is used to:

• Process and confirm your subscription
• Send the Hot Strong Sane newsletter
• Send educational content about psychology, consistency, dieting and body-composition goals
• Occasionally tell you about related workshops, products or services
• Manage subscription and unsubscribe requests
• Maintain the security and proper operation of the email list

The legal basis for sending these communications is your consent.

Kit

The signup form and email list are operated using Kit, a service provided by Kit, Inc.

Kit processes subscriber information on my behalf to operate the signup form, record subscriptions, store subscriber information and deliver emails.

Kit and its authorised service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Kit states that it uses recognised transfer mechanisms, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Website tracking

No advertising pixels or optional analytics tools are intentionally used on this temporary signup system.

Technical tools may be used where necessary to operate the website, process subscriptions, prevent abuse and maintain security.

How long information is retained

Confirmed subscriber information will be retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent or request its deletion.

After you unsubscribe, limited information may be retained on a suppression list where necessary to prevent you from being contacted again accidentally.

Unconfirmed subscriptions may be periodically deleted.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Restrict certain processing
• Receive a portable copy of information you provided
• Withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter or by contacting marina@hotstrongsane.com

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing performed before consent was withdrawn.

You may also submit a complaint to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or another competent European data-protection authority.

Automated decisions

Your information is not used to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the Hot Strong Sane business registration is completed, when additional services are introduced or when the way subscriber information is processed changes.
